Bem Case's (a Senior Advisor) proposal caught Sameena Kolia (a Project Manager) totally off guard. "It was Bem's birthday weekend, so we made plans to go to the White Oak Resort & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I booked some massages for us after we checked in. We went down to the spa and two massage therapists greeted us and took us into our room for our side by side massage. Halfway into my massage, my masseuse took off my hair tie and began to massage my scalp--little did I know but Ben had taken over for the masseuse! After a few minutes, I heard a soft whisper in my ear...I turned around and sat up and there he was, on his knee! I started crying my eyes out. Once my eyes cleared I couldn't stop laughing because when he took off his robe he was fully dressed in a suit!" Sameena recalls. The couple decided to hold a modern, urban wedding at the Thompson Toronto hotel, with a ceremony on the terrace, a cocktail hour on the roof and a reception down in the lower levels.
