An Underwater Themed Wedding at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida

High school sweethearts Brittany Fulle, a student, 24, and Rick Cochrane, also a student, 25, had an underwater themed wedding at the Florida Aquarium. “We both share a passion for the ocean and love to dive and boat so having our wedding at a place that pretty much embodies that was perfect for us,” says Brittany. The couple held their reception and ceremony at the aquarium. The onlooking aquatic wildlife served as the couple’s main decor. Their aisle was lined with orange flowers and a custom white runner that read “love as deep as the ocean” above the couple’s names. Their wedding party was dressed in black. The groomsmen had deep purple bow ties while the bridesmaids carried bouquets of purple and orange flowers inspired from an image on pinterest, says Brittany. After the ceremony, Brittany and Rick’s guests were able to experience the Aquarium at first-hand with the venue’s touch tank. Guests were given a buffet style dinner as well as access to a photo booth during the reception. The night ended with a festive fireworks show. Guests were given wish bracelets with an inspirational phrase as wedding favors. “I wanted something unique that people wouldn’t just throw away and I think they liked them!” says Brittany.
