An Understated Purple Wedding at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Georgia

Annie Deanovich (26 and a dental hygienist) was vacationing in Daytona Beach when she met Charlie (Harrison 24 and an aerospace engineer) who was attending college in Florida. Facebook reunited the pair and they quickly began dating long distance. Charlie propped after a day of ice-skating at Millennium Park in Chicago with a detailed scrapbook filled with mementos from throughout their two-year relationship. The pair invited guests to celebrate their love during a golf course ceremony at the Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Georgia. "The theme of our wedding was simple and classy," says Annie. "We went with dark purple, white, black and shades of green to keep everything clean cut and timeless while still embracing the outdoor ceremony." Following their intimate vows, the newlyweds hosted an understated indoor celebration. The country club's exposed brick walls and wood ceilings warmed the purple reception and DIY decor, including a wishing tree, added a personal feel. Guests were treated to custom koozies before the party continued back at the couple's downtown hotel.
