An Ultra-Bright Traditional Indian Wedding at Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, New Jersey
Neha Uppal (27 and a clinical engineer) and Vinny Keshav (28 and a medical resident) had an incredible ultra-bright wedding that was the perfect marriage of colors, traditions and styles. They had two ceremonies honoring Southern Indian and Northern Indian traditions for their respective families, followed by a personalized reception from All Event Decorators. The ceremonies had different palettes from traditional Indian yellows, oranges and reds to their favorite plum and turquoise hues. The decor was just as elaborate with statuette aisle decor, a flower-covered mandap (wedding arbor) and branch-covered tablescapes. But what Neha and Vinny really wanted went beyond the decor. “It was most important to us that the wedding was a lot of fun,” Neha says. Their party at Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, New Jersey, had a DJ from Shilpa Entertainment on top of live choreographed dances by her cousins and her sister, a song from his aunt and a memorable song-and-dance with their 300 guests.
