An Soft, Elegant Wedding at Pittsburgh Athletic Association in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Nothing says "romantic" like an elegant ballroom wedding at a historic club. Ashley Klavon (25 and an event coordinator) and Stephen Novacic (26 and a union laborer) had just that for their marriage at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association, which was captured by Caitlin Thomas Photography. With a neutral color palette of blush, ivory and green and silver accents, their traditional wedding was a soft, classy affair. "As an event coordinator, I know how important it is that a wedding be 'branded,'" Ashley says. "Steve and I worked with Ruby Kelly from Little Pieces to ensure that all of our stationery elements echoed one another." Everything from the programs to the menus featured Ashley and Steve's signature pink and green floral motif, and their monogram emblazoned the wedding cake and the escort cards. The escort cards were attached to bottles of wine from the couple's favorite winery, adding a personal touch to a standard decor element. Gidas Flowers provided soft, classic flower arrangement of blush sahara roses, ivory hydrangeas and fragrant eucalyptus leaves, which adorned silver vases and candelabras alongside antique book accents at the reception. "Our wedding took place in February and with Valentine's Day, that month just screamed romance to us," Ashley says. "We wanted our day to feel warm, intimate and very romantic. What's more romantic than a wedding, anyway?"
