An Romantic, Elegant Wedding at Nassau Inn in Princeton, New Jersey

Chrystin Aponte (25 and restaurant owner's assistant) and Tomas Agostino (32 and a restaurant owner) flew overseas from Spain to New Jersey, where they had their romantic wedding at the Nassau Inn in Princeton, New Jersey. Even though her and Tomas are living in Argentina, Chrystin knew she wanted to have her wedding near her hometown and knew that Princeton would be the perfect town to host all their guests. Kyo Morishima Photography captured the entire wedding day, from the traditional ceremony at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church to the elegant and romantic reception. "I wanted the feel of the wedding to be romantic and magical," Chrystin says. The couple's event designer and florist, Beautiful Blooms Events, turned the historic Nassau Inn into a lavish room using white and gold colors. Centerpieces were full arrangements of white roses and hydrangeas in gold vases with candelabras surrounded by plenty of warm votive candles. Because Tomas is from Argentina, they incorporated some Argentinian traditions into their day. Near the end of their reception, Chrystin and Tomas practiced the carnival tradition, handing guests masks, boas, hats and other fun accessories to end the night in. Kyo Morishima Photography admit that their favorite part of the wedding was the Carnaval tradition. "Although this happened around midnight at Chrystin and Tomas's wedding," they say, "we were told that if the wedding was in Argentina, the action would have started around two in the morning."
