Laura framed antique maps of Baltimore and Maryland and then glued hand-painted numbers onto the frames. She surrounded them with groupings of vintage Mason jars filled with flowers.
After the ceremony, Laura took off her veil and tucked a white flower into her loose up do.
The bridesmaid dresses were a flattering backdrop to the pale pink peonies, white roses and freesia in their spring-inspired bouquets.
The couple collected their cards in a vintage Abbott’s Bitters box.
As a nod to Tom’s career and their love of maps, Laura used framed antique maps of Baltimore and Maryland as table numbers.
Laura carried a fuller-version of the bridesmaids’ bouquets with fragrant white and pink peonies, freesia and hydrangeas. She personalized it with one of her grandfather’s white, monogrammed handkerchiefs around the stems.
Laura loved the mint-blue bridesmaids’ dresses so much, she ordered one for herself!
The bride and groom saved time and money by purchasing a ceremony program PDF with their names and wedding colors, designed by an Etsy artist. They cut the programs out themselves at home.
Laura and Tom were married on Preakness day, so in honor of the Baltimore tradition, they sent their guests home with authentic horseshoes for good luck.
