The first time Jennifer laid eyes on Cliff, he was an aisle over at church -- and with a girl. Fortunately, it turned out that girl was just his sister! A month later, Jennifer and Cliff officially met at a boating event in Panama City Beach and started dating. They continued dating while the two attended college in Alabama. When they got to a particularly pretty spot, Cliff knelt down and gave Jennifer the surprise proposal she had always wanted. “I thought, 'So this is the fairy tale I’ve been imagining for so long!'” says Jennifer.

To contrast with the elaborate seven-foot-tall arrangements on some tables, others had simple groupings of hydrangeas, tulips, and alstroemeria.

The couple chose a preppy chic color scheme of kelly-green and navy. Country-Western elements, like hay and antler decorations, kept the garden party relaxed.
Outside the tent, branches, and bales of hay spruced up the space in a country-chic way. Lanterns lit the scene once night fell.

The newlyweds did a fun swing dance to the song “A Wink and a Smile,” by Harry Connick Jr.
During the ceremony, Kelly’s green peep-toes were hidden, but they punched up her look once she changed into a short party dress.

Guests grabbed tented programs from a table near the ceremony entrance. Navy text and green ribbons worked in both hues of the color scheme.
White Groomsmen Boutonniere
The maids were decked out in knee-length, kelly-green dresses. Each wore a different style and carried a bouquet of different white flowers.
A rustic signpost at the reception site pointed guests in the right direction and personalized the space.
A nod to the garden setting, fresh tulips decorated the base of the tall, white cake. Bows at the top and bottom added more detail.
