The Groom Tommy McDaniel, 29, a firefighter for Culver City The Date May 14 With a mid-May wedding date on the calendar, Natalie and Tommy took inspiration from bright spring colors like blue, green, yellow and orange. Natalie’s vision for a farmers market theme came to life with lots of fresh pears, simple flowers, Mason jars and apple crates.

Natalie and Tommy opted for fan programs, complete with a whimsical custom illustration of themselves.
An assortment of vases topped each table—some with a monobotanical arrangement, some empty and some with candles—so they all felt unique.
Wooden Chair Decor
A colorful mix of garden roses, craspedia and pincushion proteas made up the bouquets.
Blue and green ribbon, fresh garden roses and craspedia decorated the simple, three-tiered cake.
To go with the pear motif, the couple served three pear-themed drinks.
For a bright pop of color, Natalie wore a pair of bold cobalt blue heels.
Tommy’s family has a desert house in La Quinta and they love the area for its near-perfect weather year-round. Mountain View Country Club offered space for outdoor cocktails and dinner with dancing inside.
Natalie found the perfect green damask fabric for the tables and had it made into runners and squares, as well as an overlay for the sweetheart-size round where she and Tommy sat
The couple’s yellow Lab walked down the petal-covered aisle with one of the groomsmen.
During their first year of dating, Tommy dedicated “Like Red on a Rose” by Alan Jackson to Natalie. The song was a fitting choice for their first dance.
Succulents, berzelia and green ball dianthus brought a rustic look to the soft garden roses, ranunculus and cymbidium orchids.
Escort cards were tagged to jars of pear-flavored jelly beans for guests to take home as favors.
Natalie’s and Tommy’s chairs were marked with rustic “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs.
