An Outdoor Wedding at The Coker Ranch in Lancaster, South Carolina

Hannah Haigler (28 and a nurse) and David Player (28 and in construction) met as teenagers through mutual friends.  David proposed on Christmas Eve once the couple got home from dinner and exchanging gifts with family. "Of course I immediately said yes but I was happy, excited, stressed and scared," says Hannah. "I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, but marriage is still a big step for any relationship and stressful to plan!" The couple invited guests to celebrate during a waterfront wedding at The Coker Ranch in Lancaster, South Carolina. "Before we booked our spot, I thought I was never going to find a venue," says Hannah. "I just fell in love with an outdoor spring wedding and The Coker Ranch is an outdoor venue with the perfect cost efficient wedding package!" The sunny pavilion ceremony was followed by a colorful navy and green outdoor reception with an array of heavy appetizers. "My style was simple elegance and I wanted to have hydrangeas for my flowers because they remind me of my grandmother, Mimi, who couldn't attend the wedding due to health issues," says Hannah.
