An Outdoor Ranch Style Wedding at Star Ranch in Corona, California

Amber Garland (28 and a surgical assistant) and Todd Gribben (31 and a surgical tech) met at a restaurant while Amber was working as a cocktail waitress. After they were introduced by mutual friends, they couldn't stop talking! Over a year passed before Todd popped the question to Amber after taking a ride on their boat on Lake Havasu. When Amber said yes, the wedding planning began! The couple chose the Star Ranch in Corona, California because they knew off of the bat that they wanted a ranch style wedding outdoors. This made the venue the perfect choice for their big day. Amber chose an off-white, strapless, and beaded wedding dress. It was a mermaid style fit, with a beautiful long train that was detachable. With a burgundy, black, and beige color palette, the bridesmaid wore a burgundy and black high-low style dress. The groomsmen wore a black suit with a burgundy shirt and a black tie to match the bridesmaids. However, to match his bride, Todd wore an off-white vest and tie. To pop against the dark color palette, the flowers in the bouquets and boutonnieres were bright red, orange, and yellow with brown sticks to add texture. The ceremony was at the perfect time of day so that once the sun began to set, it provided for a stunning view for the guests while they ate prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes with green beans and Caesar salad. Topped off with cupcakes and dancing, the outdoor ranch wedding was a night to remember for Mr. and Mrs. Todd Gribben.
