An Ornate, Traditional Jewish Wedding at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach in Palm Beach, Florida
Jillian Benson (29 and a real estate agent) and David Benson (30 and a consultant) went all out for their southern Florida wedding with an elaborate mix of whimsical and elegant decor that was nothing short of eye-catching, including a natural wedding arch and light-up accents. Jeff Kolodny Photography was there to capture every detail of the day, which started with a traditional badeken and tish, moved to a sweet ceremony and ended with a dance party in their venue’s ballroom. “We knew right away that the Four Seasons was the right choice for us,” Jillian says. “The hotel is beautiful, modern yet classic, has fantastic service and amazing food. I knew we couldn't go wrong.” The couple’s planner, Xquisite Events, built on their metallic and champagne color scheme with a multitude of ornate details. Natural branches covered each post of their chuppah, as a lush display of white delphiniums and white roses was draped along the top. White roses and candles also covered each round table at the reception. A base of driftwood, succulents, moss and succulents accented each centerpiece as tall silver candelabras covered in strings of crystals were placed throughout the room. Everywhere the couple’s 198 guests looked, there was a bold display of decor. Jillian and David's tiered wedding cake also added a pop of color to their day as a white cake flower accented each gold tier. After a few sweets, southern Florida’s Heatwave Band helped Jillian and David end the night with a personal touch. “We had a true dance party, and our first dance was choreographed to the song 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now' by Starship,” Jillian says. “The band also learned a Stevie Nicks song for us, since we share a love of Fleetwood Mac.”
