An Organic, Elegant Wedding at Salvage One in Chicago, Illinois

Since Melody Follweiler (26 and a consultant) and Stefan Benteler (33 and production director) were in the wedding business, they knew from that the industrial indoor-outdoor space at Salvage One in Chicago, Illinois, was just right for their organic wedding with DIY details. They brought natural elements into the venue through a green and white palette that mixed well with the exposed brick, wood and metal architecture, like the overflowing leafy canopy positioned on top of iron beams where they were married. Lush arrangements of baby's breath inside rustic wooden boxes made by Melody's father decorated the wedding day—from the aisle decorations that led to the altar to the centerpieces on the escort table inside the venue. Guests sat at wooden dining tables with white roses, tulips, stock and various other blooms and greenery in recycled bottles surrounded by small votive candles. We fell in love with Melody's ivory Blue by Enzoani dress with lace on the bodice and overlay, with a matching ivory sash with fabric flowers. Check out more of the stunning details, captured by Gerber Scarpelli Photography, that made this wedding so naturally beautiful.
