An Organic, Air Force Wedding at the Reserve at Bluebird Hill in Lenoir City, Tennessee
High school sweethearts Amy Prosise (22 and an HR recruiter) and Conner Schwartz (22 and a US Air Force officer) wanted every part of their wedding day to feel natural and timeless. They chose a palette of ivory, gold and ivy, with splashes of navy throughout, that served as a crisp backdrop for the ivory flowers and organic greenery, while coordinating with Conner's Air Force mess dress. Ivory blooms with lots of green accents added an "undone" aesthetic to the floral arrangements, which felt appropriate for the outdoor wedding. "We wanted all our decor to be classic without feeling stuffy," Amy says. Amy and Conner were married on a hill under a large wooden arch covered with ferns, greenery and ivory blooms. "We loved that the hill offered an expansive view of the East Tennessee hills and seemed a departure from traditional wedding spaces," Amy says. After the vows, they walked under a traditional arch of sabers wielded by the groom's close friends. Advice from Amy: "Styling a wedding is an exciting creative process but can be overwhelming to even the most detail-oriented people. Focus on the love around you and the family and friends you share this exciting life stage with. Flowers and dresses can't compare with the joy of starting a new life together." —Meghan Overdeep
