An Orange Craft-Beer-Inspired Wedding at American Mountaineering Center in Golden, Colorado
This wedding was hopping with brews! When Nicole Ozawa (31 and a teacher) and Chris Bruns (28 and a brewery owner and brewmaster) started dating, they decided they wanted to visit every Colorado brewery. (That’s more than 300, in case you were wondering). They started a blog called “Beer in Colorado” to share their adventures (and insider tips) with the world. With their love for craft beer flowing, it made sense to have a craft-beer-inspired wedding. From the beer-bottle-cap cuff links and cork escort cards to the pint-glass favors and the beer-infused cookie desserts, Nicole and Chris had plenty of beer details on tap. All the ales were chosen by Nicole and Chris to showcase their backgrounds, for an ultra-personal touch we love. Nicole was born in Washington State and has a Japanese background, and Chris was born in Indiana and has a German heritage. With those four places in mind, plus Colorado—where they met and live—the couple served more than 20 specialty beers. There are so many details we love about this craft-brew soiree. See them all, beautifully captured by Ali & Garrett Wedding Photographers, below.
