An Ivory Waterfront Wedding at Roche Harbor Resort on the San Juan Islands in Washington

Molly Stuart (29 and a publicist) and Jorge Castano (34 and a performer in Cirque du Soleil) met while Molly was being introduced to the cast members of the show. That’s where Molly officially met Jorge, and they remained friends over the next few years. Their friendship slowly turned into a serious relationship when they realized their deep feelings for each other. The couple went to visit Jorge’s parents on their coffee farm in Cali, Colombia. One morning, Jorge suggested taking a picture of Molly on a bench on his parent’s property. As they were climbing the hill to get to their destination, Jorge kept telling Molly how much he loved her. Jorge pulled a princess cut diamond ring out of is pocket and got down on one knee to propose. The couple got married at Roche Harbor on San Juan Island, located right off the coast of Washington. Even before they were engaged, Molly knew she wanted to get married at Roche Harbor, with the coastline views and the sailboats off the piers. Ivory was chosen to decorate the d?cor in order to focus on the tropical, natural surroundings of the island. The ceremony took place in an outdoor chapel among the trees of the forest, and the cocktail hour happened right before sunset on the patio overlooking the harbor. The banquet hall reception had dining tables decorated with floating votives in mason jars and vases with rose and peony arrangements.
