An Ivory, Gold and Neutral Wedding at Norfolk Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, Virginia
Complete with a custom ice sculpture and biscotti wedding favors, Grayson Edmunds (23 and a first-grade teacher) and Giacomo Biscotti's (26 and a manager at Enterprise Holdings) wedding was all about the personal details and having fun with loved ones. The day started with a sweet ceremony at their church, St. Thomas Episcopal. Grayson's mother lined the aisle with magnolia leaves and chic black lanterns, which fit their palette of ivory, gold, neutrals and green. After they exchanged vows, everyone moved to the Norfolk Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, Virginia, where the on-site wedding coordinator had an ultra-personalized affair waiting. Even the cocktail hour entertainment, Frank Sings Frank (a Frank Sinatra impersonator), was personalized. “Since I was marrying into a huge Italian family, my family and I thought he would be great—and he was,” Grayson says. By the time dinner was over, everyone was ready to continue the fun and hit the dance floor. Roger Cruz from Astro Entertainment made sure they stayed there for the rest of the night—all 250 of them. But of course, Grayson and Giacomo couldn’t let their guests go home without a treat. So their friends and family members were given homemade biscotti baked by her mother as wedding favors. “A biscotti from the newlywed Biscottis,” Grayson says.
