An Ivory Elegant Wedding at The American Croatian Lodge in Willoughby, Ohio
Inna Pashkovskaya (24, a student) and Igor Kutsar (30, a cerified clinical perfusionist) met during their teenage years, but didn’t connect until taking a trip to Chicago with family and friends. Shortly after returning from the weekend trip, Igor called Inna and shortly after they began to date. During one of the couple’s trips to Chicago, Igor surprised Inna with a carriage drawn by a white horse that took them on a tour of the city. It was during their ride that Igor proposed to Inna with a diamond ring, and so their seven-month engagement began. The couple had their ceremony at Parma Park Church in Parma Heights, Ohio where they attended church with their families. The reception at The American Croatian Lodge in Willoughby followed, with a space that could fit over 500 guests and at the same time embody the European, romantic ambiance the couple envisioned. The neutral color palette gave the wedding venue a timeless vibe, complimenting the simple yet elegant wedding attire in hues of ivory and gold. Wedding day flowers consisted of garden roses, gold-sprayed baby’s breath and hydrangeas that made up the bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces. Above all physical decorations, the couple wanted to maintain a clean and simple look to focus on their love for God.
