An Eclectic Wedding at The Lalumondiere Mill and Rivergardens in House Springs, Missouri

Nora Chambers (27 and an office manager) and Alex Sandoval (29 and a supply chain analyst) threw an intimate and eclectic affair in what Nora calls a “quirky and romantic” garden. While their ceremony was just for close family and friends, Nora and Alex later opened up the reception to 120 guests. “It was important to us that our ceremony was reflective of the fact that our closest friends and family have been so important to us both personally and as a couple,” Nora says. Hand-dyed ribbon and clusters of vibrant florals punched up wood ceremony chairs.Nora handled all of the lettering for every envelope, place card, reception sign and menu. To create the one-of-a-kind seating chart, Nora wrote each guest’s name in gold paint marker on an acrylic sheet affixed to navy paper. “I did everything short of milling the paper myself!” she jokes.For their cake, the couple enlisted the help of a baker friend, who also happened to co-officiate their “I dos.” When Nora couldn’t find a topper, she opted for something special to her and Alex. “We’ve been calling each other “Loml” [Love of My Life] for a while as a nickname, so it just made sense,” she says.
