An Intimate Wedding at Grace Winery in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania

Maggie Popesco (40 and in business) and Chris Gross (30 and in carpentry) had a vintage, rustic wedding at the barn at Grace Winery in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. "We wanted an intimate setting where our guests would feel relaxed," Maggie says. The vineyard barn was perfect for Maggie and Chris's celebration not only because it provided the atmosphere they wanted, but also because the couple are wine lovers. For the reception, they set up a single long dining table in the red barn and opened the doors, so their guests could enjoy the evening breeze. The farmhouse table was covered in white linens and lined with votive candles and milk-glass vases filled with various red flowers and greenery. In keeping with the wine theme, the escort cards were attached to bottles of wine that were made and bottled by Maggie and Chris. These also doubled as the wedding favors. For music, Maggie and Chris played "Great Gatsby"-inspired music from a vintage-style phonograph. After a delicious farm-to-table dinner provided by Sweetwater Farm and opera cake for dessert, guests enjoyed many of the winery's offerings, like the farm animals that guests could play with and the zip line, "which was popular after hours," Maggie says.
