An Intimate Wedding at Elizabeth's Bistro in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Dianna Banks (35 and a psychologist) and Jason Swartz (37 and in the culinary arts) wanted everything about their winter wedding to be warm and inviting. They had an intimate event with their closest family and friends at Elizabeth's Bistro, a cozy restaurant in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. They covered the dining tables in the reception area with shimmery ivory tablecloths and lined the tables with flower arrangements of bells of Ireland, blue hydrangeas and purple chrysanthemums. They also had a few arrangements of branches to add height to the space and highlight the winter season. Dianna and Jason created birch candleholders that were carved with their wedding date and initials for a rustic decorative accent. Because their reception was so intimate, the restaurant was able to cater the meal to each of their guests' preferences. As a result, Dianna and Jason's guests enjoyed a variety of foods with everything from duck to sushi. And for dessert, they had a beautiful ivory wedding cake topped with hydrangeas and pinecones and dusted with glitter for a wintry touch. Strattons Photography captured the day.
