An Intimate Serene Wedding at Carmel River State Beach in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California
Kate and Adam ventured all the way from their hometown in Toronto, Canada to be married on the wild and barren shores of Big Sur, California. Just a week before their wedding a forest fire struck the area and their desired beach location had been shut down. Luckily, their officiant was familiar with the area and was able to suggest an equally breathtaking location in a clearing atop Carmel River State Beach. The intimate ceremony consisted of Kate and Adam along with 6 of their closest friends and family. Kate's polished bouquet was an assortment of peach and cream flowers with deep green accents to pull in the neutral colors of the rocky beach area. After the ceremony the bride and groom joined their close circle of guests for a champagne toast before heading down to the water for a moment alone. Even though their original plan had changed last minute, Kate and Adam were still able to make the most of their private wedding along the beautiful barren seashore.
