An Intimate Chic Wedding at Maison May in Brooklyn, New York

Beyoncé cover songs, macaron favors, Trinidadian music and syrupy Canadian-inspired cocktails made for an ultra-personal party unique to Brooklyn-based couple Arielle Duhaime-Ross (28 and a VICE News correspondent) and Meredith Cornelius (31 and a manager of a consulting practice). The couple exchanged vows surrounded by historic brownstones in the intimate garden behind Maison May, then joined their guests indoors for a candlelit dinner. “The venue fit our needs so well that we were able to have our ceremony and reception in a single location, which really helped alleviate the stress of planning,” Arielle says. “The end result felt playful, modern and elegant.” Both brides rocked suits from Bindle & Keep and carried bouquets for the day’s festivities.
