An Intimate, Romantic Wedding at the Bluefin Bay Resort in Tofte, Minnesota

Brandon Silva (27 and a correctional officer) and Danielle Silva (29 and a correctional officer) met while working together. Wearing of dating someone she worked with, initially, Danielle turned down all of Brandon's advances. Then one day, Brandon coerced Danielle into a day of movies together and they've been together ever since. On Christmas Eve three years later, Brandon planned a proposal that completely surprised Danielle. Brandon planned a Christmas gift giving game in which his and Danielle's young daughter passed Danielle the special gift with the ring inside. "The best part was all my closest family and friends got to share in our moment," Danielle says. Brandon and Danielle chose to have an intimate wedding at the Bluefin Bay Resort on the North Shore on Lake Superior. The North Share are was a place they often escaped to and where they shared many memories making it the ideal place for their wedding. Their style was soft and romantic with grey, blush and white colors. Candles lit the reception space with warm lighting. Their theme was "star struck in love, over the moon." Table numbers showed various constellations while moons and stars decorated the desserts. Brandon and Danielle are major fans of the television show, The Price is Right, and, adding a little humor to the day, they included a few aspects of the show to their day. They created their own Plinko game, a game hugely popular in the gameshow, and had their DJ read guests' names to play. Brandon and Danielle's intimate wedding was designed to perfectly encompass who they are as a couple.
