An Intimate Picnic Wedding at Beltane Ranch in Glen Ellen, California

Joven Chacon (45 and a graphic designer) and Pete DuBois (57 and in healthcare technology) met while they were playing rugby for the San Francisco Fog Rugby club. They got to know each other over the years and became good friends before they started to date. Ten years later, the couple traveled to Valencia, Spain and visited the gardens at the Jardin De Monforte. They made their engagement official as they sat on a bench near a fountain in the gardens. The couple got married at Beltane Ranch in Glen Ellen, California, with an indoor-outdoor space that had rustic charm for their simple, intimate wedding. Joven and Pete both had a love for the outdoors, reflected through the muted lavender and blue color palette that blended nicely with the surrounding beauty. Their ceremony took place outside at the Beltane Ranch overlooking the Sonoma Valley. Joven and Pete walked down the aisle wearing lavender and blue sport jackets with shirts, bow ties and khakis from Ted Baker. After the ceremony, a picnic lunch was served on the patio overlooking the vineyards at Beltane Ranch. A beaded ivory cake decorated with matching roses completed the wedding meal, and the rest of the day was spent where it should be – wandering the outdoors.
