An Intimate, Garden Wedding at Westbury Manor in Westbury, New York

The English gardens of Westbury Manor provided a lush, elegant atmosphere for Meredith Saporito (28 and a tax specialist) and Claude Quartlbaum's (27 and a director at the Center for Student Missions) al fresco wedding. "Our design choices were quite simple for the day," Meredith says. "The outdoor area was so beautiful, so we didn’t have to do much additional work!" To match their pink and navy garden-theme, Meredith turned to floral arrangements of succulents, hydrangea and dusty miller from Pedestals Floral Decorator. She wore a Monique Lhuillier strapless wedding dress, and the groom wore a navy suit with a light pink tie. The groom and groomsmen even had a little fun with the color scheme by wearing multi-colored navy, pink and gray socks. "My husband doesn’t own a pair of plain socks, so the multi-colored socks were a key part of their attire!" Meredith says.  For the couple's first dance, they chose "That's How Strong My Love Is" by Otis Redding because of its special meaning for the two. "My husband told me when he knew I liked Otis Redding, he wanted to keep me around," Meredith says. The dance floor stayed busy long after the couple's first dance, too. With music varying between oldies, soca and classics, the music from Scratch Weddings  was a highlight of the reception. "It was definitely a dancing wedding," Meredith says.  "The dance floor was packed the entire night." The whole evening was captured beautifully by Sean Kim Photography with photos below.
