An Intimate Forest Wedding at Wallace Falls State Park in Gold Bar, Washington

Veronica Miles (25 and in employment screening) and Eric Miles (26 and a spec writer) worked together while they were attending college. What began as a friendship eventually turned into much more, and four years later, Eric proposed. Veronica came home from work to find a suitcase on her bed with a note that said, “We leave Saturday. Pack enough clothes for one week. All different weather conditions.” Eric refused to answer any questions and mentioned he already got her the time off from work. They left early in the morning and took a ferry to the San Juan Islands, where they climbed up a tower on Mt. Constitution. On the way up, Eric secretly wrote a note that said a proposal was in process to prevent any disturbances.
