The Bride Lindsay Longacre, 31, owner/wedding planner at LVL Weddings & Events The Groom Brian Ferguson, 32, in the military The Date September 9 Lindsay and Brian chose to have a private ceremony with just the two of them at Brian's family cottage in Kelleys Island. The couple exchanged the vows they had written for one another under a maple tree that had been planted in memory of Brian's mother. Our day was perfect, intimate and something we will never forget, says Lindsay.

Brian and I wrote our own vows, which I think everyone should do, says Lindsay.
