An Intimate Estate Wedding at The Castle on Stagecoach in Little Rock, Arkansas
Kristen Forester and Patrick Jackson invited only close family members to their intimate wedding at The Castle on Stagecoach in Little Rock, Arkansas. The groom donned a black suit and tie, while the bride wore a long-sleeve crepe dress with a raw-edge cathedral veil. Her cascading bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids and garden roses gave the ensemble a formal appearance. Kristen and Patrick wed in front of a fireplace decorated with black candles and greenery. After the ceremony, the space was transformed into an intimate dinner party with the same design elements. “We wanted a timeless look with a little bit of moody mixed in, so our colors were white, black and deep burgundy with lots of greens,” the bride says. “The great room in the castle was the perfect setting for the feel we were looking for.” The night ended with two small wedding cakes—and one of them boasted Kristen’s grandparents’ 60-year-old topper.
Our favorite #MakeTradition moment: “I tried to incorporate as many personal details as I could. We wrote the ceremony and vows and my dad officiated the ceremony,” Kristen says.
