An Intimate Destination Wedding at the Wailea Hotel in Maui, Hawaii

Amanda and Clem were introduced by a mutual friend in college. "He was a senior and I was a sophomore and he graduated shortly after we met. We reconnected and started dating four years later and got engaged two years after that," says Amanda. "We went on a vacation to northern Michigan and our last top was Mackinac Island. We rode our bikes to the bottom of a cliff called Arched Rock and hiked to the top. I was just enjoying the beautiful view overlooking the lake and after a while, Clem pointed out that something was written in the water. I looked down and saw the words 'Amanda, Marry me?' spelled out in the water with rocks! I was so shocked at the grand gesture that I don't even remember what he said -- but I said yes!" The two decided to have a destination wedding at the Wailea Hotel on the island of Maui in Hawaii. "We knew the breathtaking scenery would be the perfect backdrop. We were so grateful that our families agreed to make the trip with us!"
