An Intimate, Classic Wedding at Private Residence in Orlando, Florida
From the engraved antique-style silverware to the garden column backdrop, everything about Jessica McDonald (32 and a behavioral specialist) and Michael Garcia’s (31 and a medical secretary) mint, pink and black wedding was classic with a personalized vintage charm. Charity and Ricky captured each moment as the couple began their day with an intimate outdoor ceremony at Kraft Azalea Park and ended in a splash - literally! “We surprised our guests as the entire wedding party jumped into the pool in full wedding attire! It was something that was totally unplanned, but was absolutely perfect!” says Jessica. After making a few selections from Florida Flowers and Orchids, the couple used their wholesale florals to personally make each arrangement of the day. Jessica’s bridesmaids carried either a full white rose or white rose and pink peony bouquet as the couple’s daughter, Myah walked down the park’s path with a fun pink carnation pomander. Each arrangement was unique and resembled a professional creation. Another timeless and fun detail was the couple’s boutonnieres. The white rose blooms were placed inside the handles of vintage silverware for an unexpected touch. A tip from Jessica: “When we first started planning our wedding, we thought we had to do a large elaborate affair. The more we thought about it, we decided that something a little more intimate would fit us better. So do what makes you happy! Also, don't sweat the small stuff! We had forgotten to bring the boutonnieres to the ceremony site, but it was perfectly ok.”
