Elisabeth (Lis) Randall (27 and a middle school science teacher) and Maria Kennedy (27 and a high school history teacher) opted for a palette of blue and gray to dress up their community-focused loft wedding. “In our nine years together, we’ve built such a strong community of friends and family that nurtured our relationship,” Lis says. In keeping with their playful, easygoing vibe, Lis and Maria designed their own wedding invitations. “We struck a fun tone,” Lis says, “so instead of saying, ‘The reception will conclude at 11 o’clock,’ we opted for, ‘Shenanigans will continue until they kick us out at 11 p.m.’ ”
