An Intimate Beach Wedding at Tides Folly Beach in Folly Beach, South Carolina

Sophie Juvenal (30 and a radiologic technologist) and Matthew Beluso (32 and a radiologic technologist) had the ultimate beach wedding with decor that drew on all the natural colors of Folly Beach and a crab boil. Their white wedding arch was decorated with blue crates of colored glass, seashells and netting on one side as nautical white lanterns accented the other. Sophie even brought out the colors in her DIY bouquet as bright blue hydrangeas and pink peonies were wrapped in burlap and blue lace. At the reception, more seashells and candles brought their beach vibe to Tides Folly Beach in Folly Beach, South Carolina. But the dinner was what really caught the guests' attention. Their caterer, the Smoking Pot, took on Sophie and Matt’s love of seafood with a boil of crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn before everyone had the chance to pick their dinner. “It was so good, and everyone had fun breaking open the crabs with mallets,” Sophie says. The experience was something their friends and family will never forget.
