An Intimate Beach Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii

Amanda Nino (26, a nutritionist) and Kenneth Faust (26, a finance manager) were so busy tending to their guests at their housewarming party that they barely saw each other throughout the night. Eight days before the party, Kenneth had asked Amanda's father for her hand in marriage, and was planning on proposing to Amanda that night. "As the party was calming down, he came up to me and gave me a hug, smiled really big and got down on one knee," says Stephanie. "No one knew, he just kept asking people to stay a little longer, so they started getting suspicious. Two people actually figured out what was on, so they caught it on video!" As Amanda and Kenneth started planning their wedding, they decided that because of their crazy work schedules, they were going to have an elopement at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Three weeks after the decision was made, Amanda and Kenneth flew to Hawaii and had an intimate ceremony, with just the two of them and the officiant, on a cliff overlooking the pacific. Following the ceremony, the married couple had dinner together at Merriam's Restaurants and enjoyed a feast of traditional Hawaiian dishes, ranging from Kailua pork quesadillas to Keyhole lobster and pineapple bread pudding.
