Christina Sanabria and Stephen Groene had a classic, industrial wedding at Basilica Hudson. "I envisioned a French farmhouse look—not too rustic but slightly vintage and soft-looking for the time of year," Christina says. "I love color, so we incorporated lots of yellow, orange and pink with pops of deep purple and mauve." The bride wore a strapless silk trumpet gown and carried a whimsical bouquet of pink flowers and leaves. Stephen sported a black suit with a white tie and vest to match Christina's dress. At the indoor loft ceremony, guests sat in an eclectic collection of mismatched chairs. They later consulted an elegant acrylic chart adorned with leaves to find their reception seats at long wood farm tables, which were decorated with ivory cheesecloth table runners, sage-green napkins, taper candles and small flower centerpieces. "The flowers added the spring pop of color, and vintage furniture created a coziness to the venue," Christina says. The bride and groom served a whimsical tiered fondant wedding cake with flowers and gold detailing. "We also featured a whiskey and cigar bar later in the night because we love whiskey, but the most personalized feature was Pippy’s Hot Dog Truck. My husband loves hot dogs, and I surprised him with the food truck. It doubled as a late-night snack for our guests as they departed," Christina says.
