Erin White (29 and an operations coordinator) and Alexander (Alex) Cavanagh (32 and a senior manager of global warehouse operations) embraced modern, minimal décor, and one color: copper. “It was a sophisticated, industrial look," Erin says. "From Moscow mule mugs as the place cards to the groomsmen’s ties, there was an abundance of copper.” Erin took a DIY approach to design. She and her dad built an arch out of piping, and she hand wrote seating charts, menu cards and name tags for each guest. Guests dined under café lights indoors among exposed brick walls. Later, the newlyweds ended the night cutting a champagne-flavored, raspberry-filled, buttercream-frosted cake brushed with copper coloring.
