An Industrial Boho Wedding at Urban Artifact in Cincinnati, Ohio
Molly Snyder (27 and an architectural designer) and Aaron King (28 and a placement probation officer) met in high school. Molly planned the party with geometric accents, DIY details and punchy pops of blue. “My architect brain went into full design mode,” Molly says. They filled the reception with an eclectic mix of candlesticks, gold flatware and a custom paper flower installation. "It was important for our day to reflect our unique style,” Molly says. The pair sealed the deal outdoors among the ivy, where nearly 200 guests gathered in the estate’s open-air courtyard. Muted teal napkins, potted succulents and eucalyptus and lemongrass garlands topped long dining tables. Guests found their seats at place settings finished with a fresh sprig of lavender. For added personalization, the couple pieced together recycled wood pallets to create a chevron backdrop.
