We'd like to take one from this playbook! But that would involve exchanging vows on the 50-yard line of Lucas Oil Stadium, which is what avid Indianapolis Colts fans Samantha Andrews (28 and a client service representative) and John Andrews (29 and a research analyst) did. Shades of blue and white were a tribute to the football team, and obviously echoed the venue's colors. The couple still wanted it to feel like a wedding, though, so they added in shades of blush and gold for plenty of added romance. The look was definitely a touchdown. The Hoosiers kicked off the day with kisses inside the famed horseshoe, before huddling upstairs in the Quarterback Suite for dinner and dancing. Footballs and flowers decorated the space, and even the stunning pink and gold cake had a little sugar football tucked into the side. How cute is that? Check out all our favorite details from this bleeding-blue wedding, beautifully captured by Rachel Richard Photography and second shooter Jena Jenkins Photography, below.

Samantha's shoes gorgeously matched the wedding colors and also doubled as her something blue. She loved the gold-studded detailing on the bows of the peep toes for a some modern studded style. In addition, the shades of gold and pink throughout the decor added a little softness to the sports-fan soiree.
To match the Indianapolis Colts color scheme, the groomsmen wore three-piece blue suits with white shirts underneath. They completed their look with blush pink ties to match the one-shoulder pink bridesmaid dresses. Samantha and John loved how the pink gowns broke up the blue and white palette with some romance.
John and the groomsmen wanted to keep their boutonnieres simple. Their lapels were accented with single white rose blooms. Samantha loved how the flowers matched her and the bridesmaid bouquets without being too overwhelming or feminine for the football-inspired wedding.
Steve's Flowers and Gifts created Samantha's stunning white peony bridal bouquet. She knew she wanted her look to be all white, and she loved how the peonies had a subtle pink tint to match the blush bridesmaid dresses. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Samantha's arrangement including peonies, baby's breath and roses.
Samantha and John weren't afraid to show their personalities in their personalized wedding programs. The beginning of the itinerary said, "Here’s how it’s going to go: You will hear songs chosen by Samantha and John. Okay, probably more by Samantha, but nonetheless it’s good music." The stationery also matched the blue and white palette with subtle pops of pink for Samantha.
Since Lucas Oil Stadium was gorgeous on its own, and naturally created the blue and white palette, Samantha and John kept their decor minimal. They framed their 50-yard line altar with two ornate pedestals topped with textured pink and white florals, beautifully created by Steve's Flowers and Gifts.
The adorable ring bearer donned a navy pinstriped suit without the jacket for the blue and white wedding. He even wore a blue shirt under the suit to really bleed blue for the Indianapolis Colts. His team blanket was a really cute touch!
Samantha walked down the football field with her father to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli. She had kept her entrance song a secret from John. The wedding program merely said, "Then finally, when you hear the super-secret song (seriously, John doesn’t even know), please stand!"
Samantha and John took being an avid Colts fan to a new level. They exchanged vows on the 50-yard line of the Indianapolis football team's home field, Lucas Oil Stadium. Since the venue was naturally blue and white, the couple embraced it for their wedding.
The bridesmaids wore matching one-shoulder, knee-length dresses for the football-themed wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana. Although the wedding was mostly blue and white, Samantha wanted some romantic touches too. Adding soft shades of blush and gold was the perfect touch.
The bridesmaids carried smaller, textured versions of Samantha's bouquet. White peonies, roses and baby's breath looked amazing with their blush dresses, and even brought out some soft pink in the flowers. Steve's Flowers and Gifts created all the flowers, from the bouquets and the altar decor to the centerpieces, to make the stadium really feel like a wedding.
Samantha and John took one of their engagement photos, a shot of them (and their dog) in Indianapolis Colts jerseys, and turned it into their guest book. Their family and friends signed their names and well wishes onto the print with a gold marker, which really popped.
For dessert, Cakes by Cathy made a stunning two-tier cake. The bottom layer was adorned in gold glitter, while the top layer was decorated in more traditional white buttercream. A romantic pink satin ribbon and string of rhinestones completed the look. And don't get us started on the custom "Mr. and Mrs. Andrew" cake topper. Too cute!
Even the gorgeous white, pink and gold cake couldn't get away without an adorable football touch. Cakes by Cathy made a little sugar football and hid it in the side of the cake for the Indianapolis Colts wedding theme.
Samantha completed her stunning Essense of Australia trumpet-style gown with a stunning lace-lined tulle fingertip-length veil. She loved how it added to her look without taking away from the timeless dress or crystal sash.
