An Enchanting, Romantic Wedding at the Santaluz Club in San Diego, California

Walking into this elegant wedding was like entering an enchanted world—exactly what Erika Leon (29 and a physical education teacher) and Jaime Nguyen (28 and in legal ethics) had envisioned for their romantic nuptials. "We searched for the perfect outdoor ceremony with breathtaking views of nature and mountains, and were lucky to have found the Santaluz Club in San Diego, California," Erika says. "The hacienda style provided the perfect romantic feeling that we both wanted and offered the ideal location for the outdoor ceremony, a beautiful cocktail hour location and a tent reception." The soft palette of pinks, whites and purples with accents of gold decorated the outdoor space, in addition to the flower arrangements around every corner—from the pastel roses and hydrangeas inside tall glass candelabras, to the branch wedding archway covered in greens and flowers where Erika and Jaime got married. Guests sat at long white-covered dining tables, set with white and gold menu cards on top of glass beaded plates that made the dining experience that much better. Not only did the venue appear straight out of a story book, but so did Erika's dress—a strapless ivory dress with a ball gown silhouette that made her feel and look like a princess.
