An Enchanted Garden-Inspired Wedding at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada
A Las Vegas destination wedding was especially sentimental for Kay Griswold (27 and a pharmacist) and Ross Griswold (27 and a soldier). Before Ross’s military deployment, they eloped to Las Vegas, Nevada, and three years later they returned for an intimate celebration with friends and family. Their ceremony unfolded inside Joan of Arc Catholic Church, where Kay, dressed in the romantic Eve of Milady ball gown wedding dress she had always wanted, exchanged vows with Ross, looking dapper in a classic tuxedo. Their reception took place in Kay’s favorite hotel on the Vegas Strip, the Venetian, where Andrea Eppolito Events brought her expertise to set the tone of old-world elegance. Naakiti Floral Design brought an enchanted garden indoors with four tall cherry trees at the ballroom entrance and long banquet tables dressed with manzanita branches and hanging candles. A standout detail? Tall manzanita branches framed the wedding cake, which sat atop a tall Lucite display table filled with branches and candles. With a cascade of lush pink and purple flowers, the entire impression of Kay and Ross’s cake was nothing short of ethereal. And the best part? Kay and Ross love sweets, so they served dessert first. "Everyone was on a different time zone schedule, so it didn't matter if we didn't go in the classic order," Kay says. "This was a big hit—I would do it again in a heartbeat." Meg Ruth Photo captured all the cute moments, including the ballroom-turned-garden. See below.
