An Elegant, Winter Wedding at Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club in Douglasville, Georgia

Rachel Adams (28 and a teacher) and Brett Kieffer (27 and an anesthesia PA) met through a mutual friend while in college. Despite attending different schools, they remained in touch and stayed friends for nine years when they found themselves both living in Atlanta, GA. They decided to go to dinner one night and the relationship blossomed from there. Rachel and Brett go for runs every Saturday morning and, on one particular snowy Saturday, Brett decided to take a picture of Rachel in front of an old grist mill with the fallen snow. When Rachel went to pose for the picture, she found a RingPop with a note that read, "Will You Marry Me? Genesis 2:24." She turned to Brett and saw him waiting down on one knee. Rachel and Brett chose to have their wedding at the Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club in Douglasville, GA with its rolling hills backdrop. "Our ceremony and reception was rustic meets elegant," Rachel says. They chose their colors based off of the winter season. "Don't ask me why," Rachel says, "but cornflower blue reminded me of the winter." The ceremony and reception were decorated with white flowers, cascading greens and votive candles. "The flowers were elegant, and not overdone," Rachel says. "They were a gorgeous compliment to the already stunning venue." Rachel and Brett's winter wedding was perfectly set in a rustic lodge and dressed in timeless decor completing their elegant style.
