An Elegant Winter Wedding at Arlington Hills United Methodist Church in Maplewood, Minnesota

Although Emily (26 and an advertising account executive) and Phillip (26 and a medical student) had a close mutual friend for several years (her childhood best friend was his college buddy), they didn’t meet until a post-graduation group trip with friends to Lutsen, Minnesota. After dating for a year and a half, Phillip took Emily to on a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas (even clearing it with her boss beforehand!) to see her favorite artist, Celine Dion, in concert at Cesar’s Palace. While walking hand-in-hand passed The Bellagio, “Luck Be A Lady” began playing outside, and, seizing the moment, Phillip proposed. They held a winter wedding at Emily’s childhood church, the Arlington Hills United Methodist Church in Maplewood, Minnesota, and hosted their reception at the Landmark Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
