An Elegant Wedding at Tyreso Bygdegard in Stockholm, Sweden
Stephanie Ammerman (22 and a student) and Ben Ammerman (24 and an operations analyst) met in college in Minnesota, but they got married in Stephanie's hometown, Stockholm, Sweden. The ceremony took place in Tyreso church, a gorgeous old church by Stephanie's family home. Afterward, the couple celebrated with their guests at Tyreso Bygdegard in Stockholm. For their summer wedding, Stephanie and Ben chose a soft, romantic palette of gray, blush and ivory. Their preppy wedding party dressed in floor-length gray bridesmaid dresses and striped gray suspenders and bow ties. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of blush silk roses, while the groomsmen wore blush rose boutonnieres. Ben's gray tie matched the wedding party look. Stephanie wore an ivory strapless ball gown and carried an all-white silk peony bouquet. At the reception, long dining tables were covered in gray linens and white table runners, along with soft plum napkins. The tables were lined with green garlands and simple vases filled with blush roses and pink chrysanthemums. To finish the look, silver candlesticks and candelabras were added to the tablescapes for an elegant touch. Stephanie's mother did the flower arrangements and her whole family pitched in to cook the Swedish reception dinner. "The food was truly the focus of our reception," Stephanie says. "Everyone still talks about how good it was." Anette Bruzan Wedding Photography captured the day.
