An Elegant Wedding at the Renaissance Hotel in Tampa, Florida

Maria, 34 and Arthur, 37, met in 2008, but could have met through family and friends years prior. “The way we see it, Arthur and I have been buzzing around in the same social circles since I was about 13 years old,” says Maria. Keeping with a traditional yet modern theme, the pair had a first look and took pictures together prior to the ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church in Tampa, Florida. The wedding colors of silver, sapphire and white were chosen to portray the elegant event. Maria wore a champagne satin Casablanca gown and cathedral length veil to the ceremony before changing to a white feather hairpiece at the reception. The bridesmaids were dressed in sapphire Alfred Angelo gowns. Arthur and his groomsmen were dressed in classic black tuxedos. The groom’s attire was Vera Wang and complemented with an ivory shirt and tie. At the Renaissance Hotel reception in Tampa, Florida, guests were met with a photo booth, chic centerpieces, a dance floor draped in sapphire light and a few surprises. “In order to facilitate a more polished feel there was no mother/son or father/daughter dances, no garter and bouquet toss and it was an adult only affair,” says Maria.
