Emily, an attorney, 31, and Lawrence, also an attorney, 35, chose to have their wedding in Naples, Florida for its location as a midpoint between their families in Santiago, Chile and Chicago as well as atmosphere. "As a couple, we are equally happy dressed up for an elegant night out or with a cocktail in hand and our toes in the sand," says Emily. "That's the feeling we wanted our guests to experience the weekend of our wedding and the reason we chose Naples." The couple planned their wedding in just over ten months. "It all started with our vision for the invitation," says Emily. Emily and Lawrence chose navy blue and gold as their wedding colors, which accented their beach venue. White orchids, hydrangeas and calla lilies were placed throughout the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour, as well as in the Emily's bouquet. The bridesmaids carried pink orchids down the aisle to match the groomsmen's boutonnieres. The reception was draped with white and silver and accented with gold. Emily and Lawrence's guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner catered by the venue, live band and outdoor photo booth set on the wraparound loggia.

Emily selected an A-line Monique Lhuillier gown with a lace overlay and champagne sash for her wedding day.
Emily complemented her elegant Monique Lhuillier gown with white pointed-toe James Ciccotti shoes.
Emily's bridesmaids wore strapless champagne cocktail dresses by Jenny Yoo. The dresses were made of silk shantung.

Lawrence's groomsmen were dressed in black suits from Bar III that were purchased at Macy's. Each wore a pink orchid boutonniere.

Emily and Lawrence chose to decorate their reception in white and silver. White linens and flower arrangements on each table were matched with silver chiavari chairs.
