An Elegant Wedding at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia
Classic elegance and simple details shined at the nuptials of Zack Bickerton, 27, who works in finance/real estate, and Beth Bickerton, 26, who works in health care. The bride and groom first met in high school, kindling their romance online through instant messenger. After five years of dating, Zack presented Beth with a birthday proposal. The couple knew they wanted a simple and elegant wedding, and The Greenbier proved to be the perfect venue. “The Greenbrier is a very special place that embodies old-fashioned elegance,” the bride says. “Everything about our venue and wedding day was a dream come true.” A color palette of black and white with an accent of pale yellow, in honor of the groom’s love of the Pittsburgh Steelers, was incorporated into the celebration’s décor. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a sit-down dinner of chicken and filet with whipped potatoes and mixed vegetables. Local West Virginia music artist Wyatt Turner and his band provided the music for the evening and kept guests dancing all night.
