An Elegant Wedding at the Down Town Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

As Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, emerged from the chill of winter, Rachael Minardi (32 and a lawyer) and Jason Magid (35 and a lawyer) threw a traditional and luxurious wedding with a palate to match the budding spring season. With lavender and blush florals throughout the ceremony and reception, at the elegant Down Town Club, the day was marked with an understated sophistication. On the 11th floor of the Public Ledger building, the Down Town Club features marble and hand-carved wooden moldings, brass chandeliers and other architectural details—with an extraordinary view of Philadelphia's historic district. "From every room, the guests had a stunning view of the city skyline, equally beautiful during day and night hours," Rachael says. Between the wide array of hors d'oeuvres and dinner options, Cescaphe Event Group, which provides event planning for the Down Town Club, helped guide the couple through their six-month planning process. "They are so helpful and made wedding planning seem easy," Rachael says. "They took care of absolutely everything and catered to every request or need we had. Plus, the food was fantastic.
