An Elegant Wedding at the Coconut Palm Inn in Tavernier, Florida

Taylor Reineke, who works in pharmaceutical sales, 27, and Jon Zimmerman, an entrepreneur, 43, met while Jon was on a business trip to Chicago. They spent every other weekend together and talked on the phone every night until Taylor moved to Florida.  After about a year of planning, the couple had an ocean inspired wedding in Tavernier, Florida. "We wanted a laid back, rustic romance beach wedding," says Taylor. "It was all about showing our family a good time. "The Coconut Palm Inn, including its docks, pool and private beach, were reserved just for Taylor, Jon and their guests on their special day. Ocean and beach inspired colors were used throughout the wedding to promote the beach and rustic romance themes. The bridesmaids wore TOMS natural colored wedges with their own dresses in ocean inspired colors. Taylor wanted her bridesmaids to "have dresses they could wear again and again, not just once for the wedding," she says. The groomsmen matched Jon with khaki pants, white shirts, brown bets and sandals. After the intimate beach ceremony and cocktail hour, each guest was met at the tented reception with a personalized sand dollar place card. Taylor and Jon decorated the space with classic white linens, white hydrangea centerpieces and burlap table runners. Their guests enjoyed a surf and turf buffet dinner as a DJ played in the background. For dessert, Taylor and Jon served cupcakes topped with starfish accents. Guests made their own wedding favors from the couple's chocolate and nut filled trail mix bar.
