They wanted be married in their favorite part of Houston, the Museum District, to show off their hometown to their guests, so they chose St. Paul’s United Methodist for their ceremony and Hotel ZaZa for their reception. Anna wore an Anna Maier gown from Joan Pillow Bridal, blue Kate Spade pumps and custom sapphire drop earrings. Logan wore a classic black tuxedo with a white vest and bow tie. Anna and Logan both have a strong background in music, so they focused on incorporating that throughout the wedding. Logan arranged Anna’s processional, Mussorgsky’s “The Great Gate of Kiev,” for the brass band, which made second appearance as the decor on his groom’s cake. For a special touch in her bouquet, Anna carried her mother’s wedding and engagement rings. For the reception at Hotel ZaZa, the couple chose an ivory, champagne and navy palette with lots of candles and flowers as decor.
