An Elegant Waterfront Wedding at Cruiseport Gloucester at Gloucester, Massachusetts

A mutual friend of Mike Ryan (29, an Accountant) and Holly Titus (29, a Nanny) told Mike about a contest hosted by NBC and Kay Jewelers to propose on national TV which would then be aired as a commercial during the New York City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. After many interviews and elimination rounds, Mike beat out the competition! Mike managed to keep the whole thing a secret from Holly, and told her that they would be heading up to NYC to be ice skating extras in a commercial. "As we got on the ice at Wollman Rink and began to skate with cameras all around, Mike got down on his knee to propose. I thought I was being punked!" Holly recalls. The commercial was a complete surprise to Holly and ran during the holiday season as promised! The couple decided to get married in Rockport, Massachusetts. "Both of us grew up going to the ocean and being by the beach," Holly says. Inspired by their location, the couple had an elegant, nautical inspired theme with a color palette of yellow, navy and gray with gold and ivory tones.
